CIQ
A valid US Visa is required for all crew
and family. Crew that are subjected to
NSEER (National Security Entry/Exit
Registration) will be fingerprinted and photographed by the INS (
Immigration and Naturalisation Services) . Once the database are recorded it
will be verified for each entry to the States. The process should normally
take not more that 20 mins. For first time entrance with a new visa, a form
will have to be filled. An FIN (Federal Investigation Number) will then be
issued if necessary.
"To facilitate prompt process of the INS
on operating Flight Crew into LAX and EWR, an NSEERS questionnaire (Q
& A) form has been introduced at KUL for the convenience of Technical/Cabin
Crew. The NSEERS (Q & A) forms are also available at the Immigration counter
at LAX Airport. These forms that are attached to the Compliance Sheet
have been prepared for your convenience, where completion of this form in
advance will reduce the waiting time during the registration. Crew are
required to produce this form ONLY if they are detained for questioning by
the INS authorities. You are not required to
hand over this form unless required to do so by the authorities. Please retain unused forms for your future flights. "
